PGA Tour - 2018 RBC Heritage Preview
Posted on April 10 2018
For the 49th time, the PGA Tour returns to Hilton Head Island for the RBC Heritage. Last year, Wesley Bryan earned his first Tour victory by one stroke over Luke Donald. Despite being the week after the Masters, the field is still strong, including past RBC Heritage champions Jim Furyk, Matt Kuchar, and Graeme McDowell. Other notables in the field include past FedEx Cup champs Billy Horschel and Brandt Snedeker, and world number one Dustin Johnson.
Since 1972, Harbour Town Golf Links has hosted this tournament. A Pete Dye/Jack Nicklaus design, the course favors ball strikers who are capable of shaping the golf ball both ways.

Cameron Smith: Fresh off a top-5 finish at the Masters, Cameron is arguably the hottest player in the field who has yet to win this season. With five top-10s on the season, look for him to be a contender this week.Embed from Getty Images
Paul Casey: After a strong finish at Augusta National, including a final-round 65, Casey has had a great season thus far. With a win at the Valspar last month, it wouldn’t be a surprise for him to have the first multiple win season of his career.Embed from Getty Images
Adam Hadwin: The 30-year-old Canadian hasn’t finished outside the top-25 in his last five events. His ranking of 23rd in Strokes Gained: Approach-to-Green will serve him well at Harbour Town.
